In the 1st part of the CSI crossover, a severed leg is found in the Everglades and it leads the team to believe the leg belongs to a girl who disappeared in Las Vegas a week earlier. Horatio calls Ray Langston (from CSI: Crime Scene Investigation) to come to Miami and help them investigate the case further.
